Even before he converted to Islam, Mike Tyson was indisputably my favorite athlete growing up. And Street Fighter II was definitely one of my favorite video games. Oddly enough, however, the Street Fighter character who was clearly inspired by Tyson — Balrog the boxer — never connected with me. I’d use Ken, Ryu, Guile, Vega or Dhalsim 20 times before I used Balrog. Anyway, about two decades late, here’s a video mash-up of Tyson and Balrog that has been popular on YouTube this week:
