According to the people responsible for promoting the new movie Gates of the Sun (Algeria Forever), an action film has never before been produced in Algeria. The first venture into the genre for the North African country — which is reportedly 99 percent Muslim — just happens to feature American boxing legend Mike Tyson, who converted to Islam while serving a prison sentence in the 1990s.
